Her Majesty’s latest launch
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth has just celebrated her latest launch- and this time it is not a majestic liner but a magnificent website! Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, who hosted the launch, said that the website “celebrates a really important part of the British cultural tradition - the monarchy - and is a great resource for the people within Britain, so it deepens that culture. “But at the same time it’s there for anybody to see it from other countries, where they really don’t understand how the monarchy works - what it does do what it doesn’t do - so now they can go and look.”

The Royal website has had a substantial makeover with the very latest technology bringing pictures, videos, historical and factual information and a fascinating insight into all the prominent members of the Royal family both in their public and more private roles. You can even select by Commonwealth realm and in case you don’t know what a realm is- if you place your cursor over the word, you are given a very useful synopsis! Just one click can transform the whole website into Welsh or Gaelic to ensure all the Queen’s subjects are addressed fairly...

It is a very clear message to us all that anyone who is anyone has to have a web presence these days. So if you haven’t yet launched your own site on the World Wide Web, then give us a call to see how we can help. Telephone : 01753 852904
