In September 2007 we started building Promotional Micro Sites. We coined the phrase as we wanted something that didn’t say full on website but indicated a web marketing tool that you could buy at anytime and wouldn’t require a board meeting to agree the budget!!
Here are a few brief notes on some of the Promotional Micro Sites we have built. Their purpose is to generate business leads for the customers and most do a very good job if fed well! AAT Courses We created AAT courses for Corridan Financials to promote their AAT revision courses. The website frequently gets over 1000 visitors and they get plenty of enquiries from Google, Yahoo and LIVE Diamond Drilling In the summer of 2008 one of our website owners had been approached about optimising their web pages by a third party. We discussed their requirements and went of the research the market place. When we’d built the site 5-6 years ago there was no thought for SEO! Commercial Floor Cleaning Rather than commissioning us to design a bespoke template, Surefoot opted to have a BinB branded space but pushed out under its own URL / domain name. Confidential Shredding When approached by Green-a-Way to create some web space to attract those looking to dispose of their business papers in a secure and environmental way, we had to determine the key phrases being used by the facilities managers and others looking to clean up their act! Outdoor Advertising micro sites We have teamed up with Focal Point to create a half a dozen outdoor advertising micro sites which produce around 3000 visitors per month between them. This results in a number of email or telephone enquiries which can take 2 – 24 months to come to fruition. Windsor Vehicle Leasing WVL were the first to take us up on our business lead generation micro sites. We have created 5 sites generation around 2500 visitors per month. We have added an enquiry form on the left of the site which results in a few enquiries each month. Business Networking Lunches We have been supporters of NRG Networks since they launched their networking lunches in Reading around 5 years ago. This year we produced a bespoke template to drive enquiries around those searching for business networking lunch events. Within a very short time frame the micro site was flying high under a bunch of relevant key phrases. What is needed to make this more successful is content, content, content! Mary Flavelle “Networking Queen” When Mary Flavelle chose to leave Business Link after yet another round of governmental reshuffles made to boost statistics she decided to get started by doing what she knew best, running a top networking event for local businesses. Holiday Villas to rent in Spain A couple of our businesses mentioned they had holiday apartments in Spain that they rent out and so we built a template format for villa owners to use to promote their villas and apartments in Spain. |
